Two teams form up in groups of three on both sides of the coach. When the coach chips puck off of the end boards to start to play one player from each team head to their attacking zone safe corner as the other four players battle for the puck. Each time a team recovers the puck, they must make a pass to their player in the corner before attacking the net.
Key points
Players have to keep their feet moving to try to get open. Defenders may not attack the corner passers when they have the puck below the goal line. The two passers in the corners must stay in and make plays out of a small area around them. Shift length can vary between 25-40 seconds. The coach passes in a new puck on every shift change.
