The players split into two teams and line up between the neutral zone faceoff dots and the boards. The Coach starts play by dumping the puck into one side. The team that recovers the puck attacks with three players and the other team defends with two players. Play continues 3@2 until the coach whistles then the next player from the defending team takes a puck and jumps into the game. The first three attackers now are out of the game. The two defenders now attack up ice with the new player while two new defenders step out from the other side.
Key points
