Forwards start with pucks in the two diagonal corners. Defensemen line up on the blue line facing the forwards, with puck piles placed on the opposite blue line behind them.
The forward slides the puck to the D and drives the net to set a screen. The defenseman walks the line and fires through the screen. After the shot, the D retreats to the puck pile, picks one up, and quickly hits the forward for a regroup. The forward times their exit and re-entry, takes the pass in stride, and finishes with a shot.
Key points
Strong timing between F and D. Screens without interfering. Pucks through traffic. Clean, tape-to-tape regroup passes.
